Getting there · Glasgow
Getting to Celtic Park for Oasis
The easiest way to Celtic Park is the train to Dalmarnock station, a 10-minute walk from the stadium, or a 30 to 40 minute walk east from the city centre. Driving is not recommended because of event-day road closures and very limited parking.
Train to DalmarnockRecommended
Low-level trains from Glasgow Central and Argyle Street reach Dalmarnock in under 10 minutes. It is the closest station to Celtic Park and gets the heaviest event-day queues.
Train to Bridgeton
One stop closer to town than Dalmarnock and around a 15-minute walk to the stadium. Often a faster way out after the show.
Buses along London Road and the Gallowgate
Frequent city buses run east from the centre towards Parkhead. Expect diversions near the stadium on show days.
Walk from the city centre
About 30 minutes from Glasgow Cross and 40 minutes from George Square, mostly along London Road. On a dry evening it is often the quickest option home.
Taxi and rideshare
Drop-off and pick-up points are set away from the stadium on event days. Agree a meeting point in advance, as mobile signal is patchy when 60,000 people leave at once.
Flying in: Glasgow Airport (GLA)
Glasgow Airport is about 17 km from Celtic Park. Take the airport express bus to the city centre (around 20 minutes), then a low-level train from Glasgow Central to Dalmarnock. Edinburgh Airport is a realistic alternative, with trams and trains linking it to Glasgow in about 75 minutes.
Driving and parking
Event-day road closures and residents-only parking zones around Parkhead make driving very difficult. If you have to drive into Glasgow, park in the city centre or at a station with parking and finish the journey by train.
Getting home after the show
Queues at Dalmarnock after the encore can take an hour to clear. Walking back towards Glasgow Cross is usually quicker, and late trains to Edinburgh leave from Glasgow Queen Street, so check the last departure before the show.
